Sand Shape Level 4 Solution

Level Overview

Sand Shape Level 4 challenges players to complete a Z-shaped grid with a central empty square, effectively an 8-square outline. The objective is to fit four distinct 2-square domino-style blocks into their correct positions within a 4-minute time limit. Players must carefully observe the shape of the current block available at the bottom and drag it to the appropriate empty spaces on the main board. Incorrect placements will be indicated by a red overlay, requiring players to retry.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1. 1. Begin by identifying the first available block at the bottom, which is a green horizontal 2-square domino shape.
2. 2. Drag and place this green horizontal domino block into the top-left two squares of the main puzzle grid.
3. 3. Next, identify the blue vertical 2-square domino shape that appears at the bottom.
4. 4. Drag and place this blue vertical domino block into the top-right and middle-right squares of the main puzzle grid.
5. 5. Then, identify the purple vertical 2-square domino shape that appears at the bottom.
6. 6. Drag and place this purple vertical domino block into the middle-left and bottom-left squares of the main puzzle grid.
7. 7. Finally, identify the orange horizontal 2-square domino shape that appears at the bottom.
8. 8. Drag and place this orange horizontal domino block into the bottom-middle and bottom-right squares of the main puzzle grid.
9. 9. Once all four blocks are correctly placed, the entire Z-shaped outline will be filled, and the level will be complete.

Pro Tips

• Always check the shape of the block at the bottom-center (indicated by the shovel icon) before dragging, as it changes with each successful placement or after an incorrect attempt.
• Visualize how each block will fit into the remaining empty spaces. It's often helpful to start with the corners or distinct sections.
• If a block turns red with stripes upon placement, it means it's incorrect. Release it to return it to the bottom and try a different orientation or spot.
• Keep an eye on the timer at the top-right. While 4 minutes is generous for this level, speed helps for higher scores or future challenges.

Common Mistakes

• Attempting to force a block into a space where it does not fit, resulting in a wasted move and a temporary red indicator.
• Not paying attention to the specific orientation of the blocks. Some blocks are symmetrical, others require careful rotation to fit correctly.
• Ignoring the 'Required Shapes' bar at the top. This acts as a progress indicator, showing how many pieces are yet to be correctly placed.
• Panicking after an incorrect placement. The game allows you to retry. Simply let go of the block and it will reset for another attempt.
