Sand Shape Level 5 Solution

Level Overview

Sand Shape Level 5 challenges players to strategically create two distinct 1x2 vertical rectangular blocks within a 4x4 grid. The grid is segmented by various fixed walls, which dictate where shapes can and cannot be drawn. The primary objective is to precisely match the two vertical 1x2 shapes displayed in the 'Required Shapes' section at the top of the screen. Players must carefully tap starting cells and drag vertically to form these shapes without attempting to draw through any walls, all while operating under a visible time constraint.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1. Step 1: Begin by observing the 'Required Shapes' display at the top of your screen. For Level 5, you need to create two vertical blocks, each consisting of two cells stacked one above the other.
2. Step 2: To create the first required shape, tap on the cell located at (Row 1, Column 3) of the grid. This is the third cell from the left in the topmost row.
3. Step 3: Once the white dot appears, indicating your starting point, drag your finger downwards from this cell to the adjacent cell directly below it at (Row 2, Column 3). This action will fill both cells with a color (e.g., red), forming your first 1x2 vertical block. The 'Required Shapes' display will visually confirm this completion.
4. Step 4: Next, to create the second required shape, tap on the cell located at (Row 1, Column 2) of the grid. This is the second cell from the left in the topmost row.
5. Step 5: From this new starting point, drag your finger downwards to the adjacent cell directly below it at (Row 2, Column 2). These two cells will be filled with another color (e.g., yellow), completing the second and final 1x2 vertical block needed for the level.
6. Step 6: With both 'Required Shapes' successfully formed and acknowledged by the display, the level will conclude, and you will see a completion animation.

Pro Tips

• Tip 1: Always analyze the wall layout before starting. Walls are impenetrable barriers; drawing through them will result in an error and waste precious time.
• Tip 2: Prioritize the 'Required Shapes'. Focus solely on creating these specific shapes to complete the level efficiently. Unnecessary drawing can consume time without contributing to the objective.
• Tip 3: In case of a mistake or if you feel you've messed up the grid, use the 'Settings' button (gear icon) and then select 'Replay' to restart the level from scratch. This is often the quickest way to reset.
• Tip 4: The game assigns colors automatically. Do not worry about matching specific colors to the required shapes, only the form and placement are important.
• Tip 5: Look for clear 1x2 vertical segments on the grid. These are pairs of cells in the same column that are vertically adjacent and not separated by a horizontal wall.

Common Mistakes

• Mistake 1: Attempting to draw or extend a shape across any of the brown wall segments on the grid. This will always trigger a 'You can't draw through walls' error.
• Mistake 2: Not paying close attention to the 'Required Shapes' display and instead filling random areas of the grid, which does not progress the level objective.
• Mistake 3: Starting a drag in a location that does not allow for the formation of a 1x2 vertical block due to surrounding walls or already filled cells.
